Film of the real thing

Donated by Nigel Lilley and filmed by his father, Douglas,

this is some fascinating, if rather sad film of the last days

at the station before closure.  This photo, taken fom the film,

shows young Nigel with his grandfather, signalman Charles Lilley, on the very last day of operation.
